If you have a great business idea and need some cash to fund your dreams, soon enough you may be able to knock on the door of Jay Z.

The rap mogul and businessman is set to launch a venture capital fund with long-time business partner, Jay Brown, the president of Roc Nation (yes, the same label Rihanna calls home).

With Jay Z ‘s current net worth and keen business sense so far (he recently was a partner in the music streaming service Tidal, buying it at $56M and selling a third to Sprint for $200M), we’d say if he decides to invest in your idea, it must be a pretty good one.

According to sources, the two business partners are looking to team with a full-time investment partner and are in a current partnership with Sherpa Capital. With no surprise, the duo will continue to focus on early tech ideas and have already been in conversation with JetSmarter and Uber’s Series B.
