Keith Bowen was named Chief Revenue Officer for TV One, LLC and Radio One, Inc. in January 2008. In this new position, Mr. Bowen is responsible for overseeing the sales teams of TV One, GIANT magazine and Interactive One. In addition, he manages One Solution, Radio One’s cross-platform marketing team, which provides clients with dynamic brand solutions across all operating divisions, including Radio One’s 53 stations in 16 markets.
Prior to his promotion, Mr. Bowen served as Executive Vice President of Advertising Sales and Marketing for TV One. In that position, he was responsible for developing and implementing TV One’s advertising sales strategy, building a strong sales team and overseeing all of the network’s advertising sales, research, strategic planning, operations and promotion initiatives.
Mr. Bowen joined TV One from Turner Broadcasting Sales, Inc., where he was most recently Senior Vice President of TBS and TNT Sales, overseeing all Turner entertainment sales offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Detroit. Prior to that post, he was Senior Vice President and General Sales Manager for TNT, with oversight of TNT advertising sales, marketing, promotion, research and strategic planning. Before being named Senior Vice President of TNT in 1999, he was Vice President and New York Sales Manager of Cartoon Network Sales and Marketing.
Mr. Bowen was a key sales executive who was instrumental in the rapid growth of Cartoon Network from 1994 to 1999. He joined Turner in 1989 as an Account Executive for CNN and Headline News in Los Angeles and New York and was named Sales Manager of children’s programs in 1994, managing the sales and marketing of kids programming on Cartoon Network, TBS, TNT and Turner Syndication. Before joining Turner Broadcasting, he was a District Manager for Allnet Communications in Anaheim, CA. Mr. Bowen serves on a number of industry boards, including the Executive Board of The American Advertising Federation and the Board of the AAF Mosaic Council, and was recognized as a "Top 100 Industry Leader" in 2006 and 2007 by Cable Fax magazine. Additionally, Mr. Bowen has served on the Executive Committee of the greater New Jersey Multiple Sclerosis’ Spring Classic from 2000-2008. Mr. Bowen is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago with a B.A. in business and finance. He resides in New Jersey with his wife Karen and their two children.
