The legendary Hip-Hop duo Eric B. & Rakim officially announced their 17-city tour this morning, Tuesday, March 6. Will the real Hip-Hop heads please stand up and get your credit cards ready?

Although the original announcement appears to be deleted, Rakim confirmed via  Twitter this “ain’t no joke.” They first announced this upcoming tour last October and it’s been “in the works” ever since. Now, with dates and cities lined up, the tour is real and they’re ready to give you everything you’ve been missing from Hip-Hop.

Eric B. & Rakim have not hit the road together since the early ’90s. However, last July, they surprised us all when they reunited for the 30th anniversary of Paid In Full at the Apollo Theater in Harlem.

During this epic night, they hit the stage, alongside 30 other legendary Hip-Hop acts including DJ Kool Herc, Bumpy Knuckles, EPMD, Ice-T, Special Ed, Fat Joe, Flavor Flav, Main Source, Ma$e, Joeski Love, Roxanne Shanté, Chuck Chillout, Mr. Cheeks, Peter Gunz, Sweet T, T La Rock and the late Lovebug Starski.

We already know Eric B. & Rakim are the greatest of all time (please leave your comments below if you want to challenge 😜). So if this is any indicator of what we should look forward to, point us in the direction of the presale.
