Jamie Foxx stars in Netflix’s newest movie, Project Power. According to Rolling Stone, the film, “is based around a new drug that gives those who take it a unique superpower (invisibility, super strength, bullet-proof skin, etc.), although it also proves to be deadly for some. Foxx plays a former soldier bent on stopping those spreading the power pills, in part to save his daughter, who was kidnapped by the kingpins because she seems to know something about the drug’s formula.”

The  52-year-old Oscar winner and current Entertainment Weekly cover star has a slew of projects on deck, including starring as Disney Pixar’s first black lead in, Soul, alongside Phylicia Rashad and Questlove and the much anticipated Mike Tyson biopic.

Project Power hits Netflix on August 14th.
