Empire marks Ta’Rhonda Jones’ network television debut.

A native of Chicago’s South Side, Jones is one of eight siblings. Her passion for music developed at a young age. Her brother, rapper Tim Streetz, played a vital role in her love of music. Eventually, this love blossomed into a rap career, putting her in the studio at age 17.

Jones continues to rap under the moniker Lady Heroin. Her creative talents extend far outside of the music industry. Taking an interest in fashion design at a young age, she continues to make and sell her own clothing.

Jones’ hometown is Chicago.
