Tommy Ford of “Martin” Fame Dies at Age 52

Oh man.

We were worried this would happen when we first reported that the actor was in critical condition in an Atlanta hospital, after suffering from a stomach aneurysm. Initially, we got calls from close friends like Terri J. Vaughn, telling us Ford was in bad shape but hanging in there.

Unfortunately, we just learned that Ford has indeed died after his family ended life support earlier this afternoon.

 

To all family and friends of Tommy Ford. We would like to inform everyone that our brother passed away today October 12, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Please keep his family in your prayers as they go through this challenging time. He was so dearly loved by so many and for that lets all be grateful for a life well served.

Ford, best known as Tommy on “Martin,” was surrounded by friends and family when he passed.

Obviously, we will keep this story updated as more information comes through, but in the meantime send your thoughts and prayers to the family.
