Michael Jackson fans will get a glimpse of what happened during the final days leading up to the pop star’s unfortunate death.  A new Lifetime biopic, Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland, is scheduled to start production in February.

The movie is based on the book, Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days, which is told through the eyes of Jackson’s bodyguards Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard. We’re excited about it even though the movie won’t feature some of his earlier, but hot performances like this one on Motown’s 25th Anniversary show.

Impersonator Navi will star as Jackson in the movie with executive producer Suzanne De Passe, who has also been behind numerous awards shows, movies and TV shows such as The Temptations.

In other news, Lifetime is also schedule to air, Custody, on March 4. Viola Davis is the executive producer. She also stars in the TV flick as a judge who oversees a custody case after a “hard working mother has her children taken from her after she is suspected of injuring her son,” according to Davis recently received a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Fences, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
