TWENTY? Can you believe it? Quite possibly one of Missy Elliott‘s most popular records, The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly) is celebrating a landmark birthday.

And what better way to commemorate such an iconic song in music history? How about a reissue on vinyl? The 46-year-old songstress and producer announced the news on Instagram over the weekend.

Elliott has always been credited for being an innovator in music, but did you know that many think her costume designs from another legendary video Sock It To Me inspired the Gmail logo.

But back to The Rain. Not only did it star Elliott in all of her trash bag wearing glory (thanks to stylist June Ambrose), but the Hype Williams directed video include an onslaught of cameos, including Taj of SWV, Total, Lil’ Cease, 702, Puffy, Yo-Yo, Da Brat, Timbaland and Lil’ Kim.
