Belle’s Butter Corn Bread


Butter Corn Bread

1 ¼ cup Yellow Cornmeal

1 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour

1 tablespoon Baking Powder

1/4 cup Granulated Sugar

1 teaspoon Salt

1 cup Whole Milk

2 large Eggs

1 stick Butter, melted

1/4 cup Honey

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.  Spray a medium cookie sheet and parchment paper with oil. Drop honey in dots about 1 inch apart. Make as many dots as possible and freeze. In a large bowl combine dry ingredients. Add milk, beaten eggs, and butter. Mix well and pour into pre- greased pan to bake.  Drop pieces of honey into mixture and bake for 20-25 mins or until golden brown.
