Longtime comedian and social commentator Dick Gregory has died at age 84, according to a post on his social media pages.
Celebrities like Roland Martin and Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. instantly shared memories of Gregory on social media.

Just days ago his son, Christian Gregory, took to Facebook to announce his father was in the hospital with a serious, unknown condition.
Widely known for his comedy and his position in the Civil Rights Movement, Gregory was a legend and continued to tour around the country with his lovable, yet honest views on everything from politics, race and black America.
