The Jamie Foxx Show is where we got to see the many layers of raw talent from the actor/comedian/singer. In fact, we almost forgot how much we enjoyed the show until Garcelle Beauvais reminded us that it has been 21 years since the show first aired.

21 years since the Jamie Foxx show premiered August 28, 1996 WOW #greatmemories #goodtimes should we do a reboot or leave well alone lol @iamjamiefoxx #ChristopherbDuncan #garrettmorris #elliaenglish #thejamiefoxxshow

Not only did Beauvais post a memo about the show’s anniversary, she asked a very good question about whether or not the show should be revived. And to be honest, we think it would be a great idea to see Jamie on a TV sitcom again.

Maybe not so much in the same situation where Foxx is an aspiring performer working in the hospitality industry, but a tweaked concept where we see the evolved family life between Jamie & Fancy could be interesting. Kinda, sorta like a My Wife & Kids. (For any show producers out there, I’d like my credit. Thanks.😉)

For those who may not remember, the first episode of The Jamie Foxx Show aired on August 28, 1996 and lasted for five seasons, ending in 2001.
