Antoine ‘Fats’ Domino, the New Orleans prodigy whose musical pioneering sound blended rock with rhythm and blues, has died at the age of 89.
CNN reports, “Domino passed away due to natural causes.”
Celebrities like Harry Connick, Jr. and PJ Morton shared their thoughts of Domino’s great legacy.

Domino sold more than 65 million albums and had more than 30 Top 40 singles in his career. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.
