Keith Wilder , a member of the funk band Heatwave , reportedly died in his sleep after suffering from health problems. He was 65.
Responsible for several disco and funk classics, some of the group’s biggest hits, like, Boogie Nights and The Groove Line and their 1977 ballad Always and Forever went platinum.

Questlove wrote a tribute to Wilder on Instagram , paying homage to the iconic group.
TV One also paid homage to the group in a 2010 episode of Unsung .
Our thoughts and prayers are with Wilder’s family.
