Is Nelly the new face of rape? I know, I know. It’s horrible to think so, because we love him, but what gives?

The 43-year-old was accused of rape for the first time back in October. Since then that charge has been dropped and the case dismissed, however, he did admit to having consensual sex with the woman named in the lawsuit.

The Country Grammar rapper is now being accused by two additional women of the same thing, prompting long-time girlfriend Shantel Jackson to speak out.

According to reports, “One of the alleged incidents took place in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, after Nelly played a concert at the Cliffs Pavilion in December 2017. The woman claims he masturbated in front of her and forced her to perform oral sex. The other complainant is an American woman who claimed Nelly assaulted her at an afterparty following a concert at London’s Koko – she alleges he groped her despite her fending off his advances. The lawsuit suggests the attacks show a “pattern of conduct” where Nelly “preyed upon his selected female fans”.

Nelly has since remained firm in his innocence.
