With the newest sexual assault claim against Russell Simmons the total number of accusers jumps to 15. Despite all the allegations coming against the mogul, he has stood strong in his innocence. With regard to the newest claim, he told The Guardian “I look forward to having my day in court.”

Yesterday his ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons spoke out on the matter.

In an Instagram post she said, “I have known Russell for over 25 years…These allegations against him are nothing like the person I have known in all that time. I have known him to be a caring and supportive father and someone who has worked tirelessly to uplift disenfranchised communities.”

Russell and Kimora were married from 1998-2009 and share two daughters together, Ming Lee Simmons and Aoki Lee Simmons.
