In an effort to clear his name yet again, Ne-Yo denied forcing his ex, Monyetta Shaw, to get her tubes tied (the long-standing rumor is that Shaw went through with the procedure after the couple decided they didn’t want anymore kids. Soon after they split and Ne-Yo had a baby with another woman, his now wife, Crystal Smith).

The singer responded to a critic on Instagram (click the right arrow on the photo below to see his comment).

And he didn’t stop there. The 38-year-old also defended his wife (and rightfully so) when she was referred to as a porn star.

There’s something about a man defending his wife that’s incredibly sexy, no?

Monyetta, Crystal and Ne-Yo have since resolved their issues and are effectively co-parenting, so it’s odd that people who don’t know their situation are still so riddled with anger.
