For the first time in 7 years, Sade is releasing new music and we have Ava DuVernay to thank! The director announced today on Twitter, that Sade agreed to create an original song for the Wrinkle In Time soundtrack, and it’s “a dream come true.”

“Flower of the Universe” is the name of the track for the upcoming Disney movie, which hits theaters March 9. The film, which is based on a 1962 children’s book, will star Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling. The soundtrack also will also include artists DJ Khaled, Chloe and Halle, and Kehlani. Check out the trailer below!

We can’t wait to hear the soundtrack, and we’re thrilled to get new music from Sade, after waiting since her 2010 album, Soldier of Love.
