In a recent interview with Net-A-Porter, Lisa Bonet shared her thoughts on Bill Cosby‘s sexual assault and harassment allegations. While other Cosby show alum have stood by Cosby and even defended him, she said “I don’t need to say, ‘I told you so.’ I just leave all that to karma and justice and what will be.”

Phylicia Rashad, Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Keshia Knight Pulliam have all stood by the actor, comedian and philanthropist Bill Cosby. We all remember that infamous photo of Keshia Knight Pulliam walking side-by-side with Cosby near the courthouse and her statement ‘that’s just not the man that I ever experienced.’

Bonet, however, remembers her time with Cosby and the show a little bit differently. When the topic came up, she said his alleged sexual misconduct didn’t “taint her memory of those years….it’s exactly as I remember it.” 😲😲😲😲

Wait, let us clear that up just a little bit. She did NOT have any knowledge of these allegations, but she always felt he had a “sinister, shadow energy” that “cannot be concealed.” She added, “if I had anything more to reveal then, it would have happened a long time ago.”

Well, that closes the book on that! Her relationship with Cosby and the show has been strained since Cosby publicly objected to her sex scenes in “Angel Heart.” (And probably her marriage and pregnancy with Lenny Kravitz along with her topless Interview magazine spread)

The article, of course, is not entirely about Cosby, but this is certainly the juiciest part. It’s a full profile walking through her humble beginnings as a confused and isolated mixed-race kid in the ’60s and 70s, her acting career, her love life – both old flames and her current husband, and her beautiful kids. It’s a beautiful, revealing look at a woman we’ve come to love for her mystery, intrigue and bohemian aura. Check out the full interviews, HERE.
