Angela Bassett never disappoints when it comes to her acting skills! The actress who starred in Black Panther took it to another level in a segment with Buzzfeed News’ AM to DM where she auditioned for the role of the movie’s villain, Erik Killmonger, portrayed by Michael B. Jordan.

If you haven’t seen the film, which recently broke $1 billion at the box office, you missed a few classic lines by the character Killmonger, whose plan was to take over the throne of his cousin, and King T’Challa (Chawdick Boseman) who was also the son of Bassett’s character. The “hey auntie” line and many other priceless moments were flawlessly recited in the video below. Check it out!

How did she do??

This isn’t the first time Bassett has blown us away with an impromptu performance. In 2016 The Root asked the NAACP Image Award winner to act out her favorite monologue of her career, and she snatched our lives with a segment from Macbeth.
