R&B singer Bobby V is under investigation by Georgia law enforcement for rape.
Police tell TMZ that on March 19 a woman filed a police report outside of Atlanta in nearby Cobb County, Ga. accusing the singer and Atlanta metro resident of sexual assault. Officials have not released much more information around this case.
Reps for the artist are believed to be pursuing legal action against the accuser calling the claims a “…calculated attempt to obtain financial gain.”
Bobby V, formerly Bobby Valentino and known for songs like ‘Slow Down’, ‘Beep’, isn’t new to bad news after being a victim of an extortion plot last year when video surfaced of him allegedly not paying a prostitute for her services.

Bobby V appeared on TV One’s Sister Circle Monday afternoon to state the allegations are “completely false.” He went on to say that after dealing with public adversity he relies on his family and church to get him through it.
Sister Circle airs weekdays on TV One at 12/11c.
