Fresh off a dynamic performance at Coachella over the weekend, Beyoncé is awarding four $25,000 scholarships to one student at four Historically Black College and Universities, including Xavier University, Wilberforce University, Bethune-Cookman University and Tuskegee University.
According to her website , “the disciplines will include literature, creative arts, African- American studies, science, education, business, communications, social sciences, computer science and engineering. All applicants must maintain a 3.5 GPA or above. All finalists and winners will be selected by the universities. Winners will be announced this summer.”

This is the second year Mrs. Carter has funded a scholarship, on the one year anniversary of Lemonade , she partnered with four colleges and universities across the country to launch the Formation Scholars program .
In related news, JAY-Z is also looking to send kids to college in conjunction with his Shawn Carter Foundation . The deadline is April 30th.
