Congratulations to Michael Bivins on receiving his honorary high school diploma this morning from Belmont High School in Belmont, Massachusettes.

The RBRM (New Edition changed their name last month) musician left Belmont as a sophomore to pursue music, a feat that proved highly successful.

In an interview with WHDH, the new dad said, “It’s never too late, don’t ever feel like you can’t go back fix something and do something again. As long as you have breath, you can go back and do the same thing and maybe it’ll have a different outcome.”

Congratulations again to Michael Bivins, showing his four daughters that anything is possible. Want to see RBRM on tour this summer? Find out when they’re coming to your city here. Watch as he goes back to the place he once called home below.
