Emmy nominations came out this week and while we’re super excited for the over 10 black and brown faces, including Tracee Ellis Ross, Issa Rae, Katt Williams, Tiffany Haddish, Letitia Wright, Regina King, Donald Glover, Sterling K. Brown, John Legend and Anthony Anderson, a few of our favorite shows and actors were noticeably absent from the list.

And an honorable mention for Power. Because we still can’t understand why after five seasons Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora have been ignored. Even after having the highest ratings on the network. He talked about the importance of the acknowledgment at the 49th NAACP Image Awards in January.

Saturday Night Live‘s Micheal Che and Colin Jost will host the 70th Emmy awards September 17 in Los Angeles.
