Tamar Braxton is making headlines yet again, this time revealing she has a new man and that she was sexually abused by members of her family growing up, a fact only one person knew…until it was brought up during an upcoming episode of Braxton Family Values. If you haven’t been following the drama over at We TV, Tamar, Trina, Towanda and Tonihave reportedly decided to not film their popular reality show this season until they’re contracts were upgraded (i.e. more money).

Traci Braxton, however, has continued to film, bringing alongPhaedra Parks for the ride. A clip of the season finale leaked and the sisters finally appear on the show altogether with the help of Iyanla Vanzant. During the meeting, Tamar walks out because someone let it slip that she was molested.
She explained to Wendy Williams today why she walked out, the status of her relationship with her sisters and of course all the details on her divorce from Vincent Herbertand her new Harvard graduate Nigerian beau. Watch below. Be sure to click on the right arrow to see all four parts.
The youngest Braxton took to Instagram to open up a bit more about the sexual abuse she experienced, also announcing her new website where women could openly talk about their encounters, “Today Wendy asked me what happened at my sisters meeting and why did I walk out. Since someone there decided that they would ask me about something so private, so embarrassing, so secretive in front of EVERYONE that was there, I felt like my life was flashing before my eyes and IMMEDIATELY started to cry. Not because someone decided to allow someone else to tell MY SECRET, not because I was asked if it were True in front of a hundred strangers, but because once again my right to choose was taken from me all over again. I decided to Tell Wendy and the world MY secret, MYSELF that I have been a victim of abuse not once, twice, ten, but multiple times by multiple “family members”.
Kudos to Tamar for encouraging others to be brave and courageous. We talked to the Grammy-nominated singer earlier this year on TV One’sUNCENSORED and she opened up about the one thing she changed once she saw herself on television.
