In honor of Will Smith‘s 50th birthday on Tuesday (we’re not going to even talk about how unreal it is for him to be fifty and look like THAT), Garcelle Beauvais posted what she thought was an innocent tribute to her former Wild Wild West co-star.

After a few hours of back and forth, Garcelle eventually apologized for the “funny post”.

Ok guys it was supposed to be a funny post My bad if I offended anyone ! If you are my followers you know I’m all about lifting up people and being positive 🙏🏽being human I made a mistake … Have beautiful blessed day

But she wasn’t the only on-screen love interest that paid tribute to the actor…and in the same way. Vivica Fox, who starred in Independence Day with Will did the same in honor of his birthday.
