During last night’s election coverage, political analyst Donna Brazile, known for conservative suits and short coif, became the topic of conversation online — and it had very little to do with the incoming results. The 58-year-old Louisiana native debuted a silver bob and sassy makeup that shocked many of us.

I mean. Sheesh. She looks damn good, there’s no denying that. And what’s even more amazing? Her new look took nothing away from her incredible expertise and credibility in the political arena. Take another look below.

Now Brazile gorgeous new look aside, we’re saluting the handful of black women who dominated in their states, making history and setting records. In case you missed it, allow us to introduce or re-introduce many of you below.
