It’s no secret that Dee Barnes, a well-known music Journalist from the 90s, has alleged that Dr. Drephysically abused her.
This week she spoke to Wendy Williams about what happened the night of the alleged abuse, and it’s what she didn’t say that asks the question — did Dr. Dre sexually abuse her?
While recounting the story of their fight at the now-infamous Def Jam party Barnes says,“…he picked me up and lifted me off the ground…slammed me up against the brick wall.” When Wendy asks if she was sexually assaulted by the hip hop producer, Barnes responds, “I’m not comfortable talking about everything right now.”
According to Page Six, Dre “was charged with assault and battery after Barnes pressed charges. He pleaded no contest. He was fined $2,500 and sentenced to two years probation and community service. She also filed a $22 million lawsuit against Dre, which was settled out of court in 1993.”
