Cuba Gooding Jr. has been arrested and charged with forcible touching after turning himself into the NYPD.

A 30-year-old woman has accused the actor of grabbing her breast while they were talking at a New York night club on Sunday night. All of which he denies.

The Academy Award Winner arrived for a sit down with Special Victims Unit detectives around 2pm Thursday. Though he himself made no comment, his attorney Mark Heller made a statement to the Daily News.

“Nobody is happy to be in this position, but I can tell you he’s feeling extremely confident and has great trust in the legal system.”

Heller told the reporters that a surveillance video from the club that captured Sunday’s exchange would prove his famous client’s innocence and that the accuser actually demonstrated “stalking” like behavior. However, in the newly released footage, the actor is clearly seen touching the thigh and what looks like the breast of the woman.

In her statement to investigators, the unidentified woman said Gooding was “highly intoxicated” during the interaction and that the two began to argue leading to security getting involved. She then called the police.

Other videos from Sunday have begun to surface showing the father of three having a day of drinking and socializing.

As if this situation isn’t sticky enough, a second woman has come forward claiming the 51-year-old actor grabbed her buttocks at a New York Resturant. There are no details in regards to the timeframe of this second allegation.

Cuba Gooding Jr. now joins the growing list of celebrities being accused of sexual misconduct. We have been following the new charges and accusations brought up against R. Kelly this year that you can read here. The #MeToo movement has also made it clear that no one is off limits when it comes to exposing or reporting on such allegations as we see playing out with Michal Jackson.
