Marvel just announced a list of its upcoming films along with the stars that will be taking on roles of leading superheroes revealing that a little more chocolate has been added to the cast lineup!

Mahershala Ali

This Emmy nominee and Oscar winner is set to star as the lead in “Blade.” This role was played by the iconic Wesley Snipes during the ’90s and early 2000s

Anthony Mackie

Mackie is a Marvel veteran with several projects under his belt, with the most recent being “Avengers: Endgame.” The 40-year-old will now take on the leading role in “The Falcon and Winter Solider” as the new Captain America, the first African American Actor to ever do so.

Teyonah Parris

This talented actress is cast in Wandavision as Heroine Monica Rambeau. The Love Under Management star will be playing a superhero who can change into energy forms.

Tessa Thompson

No stranger to the big screen, this star is climbing to new heights as she portrays Marvel Studios’ first LGBTQ superhero in “Thors: Love and Thunder.”

Brian Tyree Henry

We love him as Paper Boi in Atlanta and now fans can get excited to see this actor as a superhero as he is set to star in Marvel’s “Eternals” as Phastos.

It seems that movie makers have learned a thing or two from “Black Panther” and we are truly excited to see this increased diversity among Marvel’s leading roles.
