Jay-Zand NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell announced a new partnership which will make Roc Nation a co-producer of Super Bowl halftime shows and a partner for the league’s community activism initiative, Inspire Change. This announcement has rattled fans and celebrities alike as they try to understand the details of this deal and many have pointed out the elephant in the room.
The father of three answered the burning questions with this statement.
“We forget that Colin’s whole thing was to bring attention to social injustice. In that case, this is a success. So what are we gonna do? You know what I’m saying? Help millions and millions of people, or we get stuck on Colin not having a job.”

Even with these words, some aren’t buying it. Kaepernick’s friend and former teammate, Eric Reidof the Caroline Panthers, blasted HOVA for the deal.
These aren’t mutually exclusive. They can both happen at the same time! It looks like your goal was to make millions and millions of dollars by assisting the NFL in burying Colin’s career. https://t.co/LFBZpbj2tw
There has been no statement released from Kaepernick himself and Information on the dollar amount of this deal has not been released. Whatever side of the table you fall on, hopefully, we can all agree to hope for good things and lives changed for the better to come from this new partnership.
