Congratulations to Racquel Bailey, the bold actress who went to major heights (pun intended) to get Tyler Perry‘s attention. The Atlanta actress posted a message to her Instagram followers sharing that she had just snagged a roll. Turns out that the role is part of Perry’s new show Sistas.

Earlier this year we reported that Bailey purchased two Atlanta billboard advertisements addressing the award-winning director and producer, to which he was not a fan and proceeded to blast her on social media.

However, as it turns out the 32-year-old was contacted by casting directors, landing herself an audition. Bailey has been casted to play a police officer who is also the ex-girlfriend of one of the leading characters.
Sistas, set to premiere in 2020, stars KJ Smith, Ebony Obsidian, Mignon Von and Novi Brown.
