Rufus ft. Chaka Khan Get 4th Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nod, Biggie & Whitney Houston Added

The 2020 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class includes a fourth nomination for Rufus featuring Chaka Khan and a first for The Notorious B.I.G and Whitney Houston.

According to Rolling Stone, to be eligible, “each nominee’s first single or album had to have been released in 1994 or earlier.” Other artists nominated include Pat Benatar, Dave Matthews Band, Depeche Mode, the Doobie Brothers, Judas Priest, Kraftwerk, MC5, Motörhead, Nine Inch Nails, Todd Rundgren, Soundgarden, T. Rex, and Thin Lizzy. Fans can place their votes here.  Winners will be announced in January and inducted May 2nd, 2020, at Cleveland’s Public Hall.
