One of the “darkest of days,” Chrissy Teigen captioned in a social media post after the loss of her baby boy. She and husband, singer John Legend, lost their child on Wednesday after suffering pregnancy complications.
Teigen was hospitalized on September 29 after experiencing excessive bleeding. She posted the tragic news of their loss on social media.
“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” the model and cookbook author captioned in a post. “We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusion. It just wasn’t enough.”

Celebrity friends offered their condolences and support to the family.
Gabrielle Union offered her support stating, “We love you guys so much and we will be here for whatever y’all need. Always.”

Their baby boy, who they were planning to name Jack, would’ve made number three for the couple who share a daughter Luna (4-years-old), and a son Miles (2-years-old).
